Sx̱éḿx̱em (sk-wum-hwum) is the Squamish word for horsetail. This ancient, powerful plant is rich in silica content, which can help strengthen hair and nails. Hand-harvested nettle blends with jojoba seed and rosemary oils to further fortify and hydrate. A rich, woodsy scent revitalizes the senses as you massage the oil into hair or cuticles.

A portion of proceeds from this product will support the Nesting Doula Collective, a mutual aid initiative serving pregnant, birthing and postpartum families on Coast Salish territories.

For Hair & Scalp

Structural Strength: Horsetail (Sx̱éḿx̱em) is one of the highest natural sources of Silica. Silica is a mineral that strengthens the hair shaft, reducing breakage and split ends.
Scalp Stimulation: Rosemary Leaf Oil and Nettle are recognized for their ability to improve micro-circulation. By invigorating the scalp, they help deliver more oxygen and nutrients to the hair follicles, which can encourage healthier, faster growth.
Frizz Control & Shine: Jojoba Seed Oil mimics the skin’s natural sebum. It smooths the hair cuticle (the outer layer), locking in moisture and flattening "frizz" for a natural, healthy sheen.
Protection: Sunflower Seed Oil is rich in Vitamin E and oleic acid, which act as a shield against environmental damage and UV-induced dryness.

For Cuticles & Nails

Nail Hardening: The high silica content from the Horsetail extract acts as a "hardening" agent for the nail plate. Regular massage can help prevent peeling and brittle nails.
Deep Hydration: Jojoba oil has a unique molecular structure that allows it to penetrate the tough skin of the cuticle better than most oils. It softens hard, ragged cuticles and prevents painful hangnails.
Antimicrobial Protection: Rosemary and Nettle have natural antiseptic properties. Massaging this oil into the nail bed helps keep the area clean and healthy, protecting against minor fungal or bacterial issues around the nail fold.

Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis Herb Oil, Equisetum Arvense Extract, Urtica Dioica Leaf, Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Oil.

Instructions

For Hair:
- Apply a few drops to damp hair (towel-dried). Water opens the hair cuticle slightly, allowing the Jojoba and Horsetail to "sink" inside the shaft rather than just sitting on top.
- Apply and massage into to roots and scalp at night. Leave overnight and wash in the morning.

For Nails: Apply last thing at night. This gives the oil a full 7–8 hours to repair the nail bed while you sleep.

Are you cruelty-free?

Yes, we are cruelty-free. Sourcing from suppliers that are cruelty-free is a priority for us.

Do you harvest all of your botanicals by hand?

Due to the nature of our growing business, we are not able to sustainably and ethically hand harvest all of the botanicals we use in our products. We hand harvest materials as a team here in Squamish, BC and source from local suppliers.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Yes! All of our cartons are FSC certified and recyclable. Our products are packaged in recyclable glass and our tea bags can be composted.

Do you have a storefront?

Yes. Our Store and Headquarters is located in Squamish BC. Our address is 37756 3rd Ave. We are open Monday through Friday: 9:30am-4:30pm and Saturdays 11am - 3pm.
