Ts’exts’ix - Stinging Nettle

Ts’exts’ix comes from the root word ts’ix, meaning “singed” or “burned.” My great-uncle taught me that the stinging of nettle indicates the powerful medicinal properties of this plant. Stinging Nettle (Urtica dioica) is a testament to the strength in vulnerability. It's power belies a nurturing heart, rich in nutrients that invigorate and rejuvenate your skin.

Are you cruelty-free?

Yes, we are cruelty-free. Sourcing from suppliers that are cruelty-free is a priority for us.

Do you harvest all of your botanicals by hand?

Due to the nature of our growing business, we are not able to sustainably and ethically hand harvest all of the botanicals we use in our products. We hand harvest materials as a team here in Squamish, BC and source from local suppliers.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Yes! All of our cartons are FSC certified and recyclable. Our products are packaged in recyclable glass and our tea bags can be composted.

Do you have a storefront?

Yes. Our Store and Headquarters is located in Squamish BC. Our address is 37756 3rd Ave. We are open Monday through Friday: 9:30am-4:30pm and Saturdays 11am - 3pm.

Dewy and soothing!

After first application, my boyfriend immediately commented on how dewy and glossy my skin looked. I almost forgot to put moisturizer on afterwards because my skin already felt so hydrated due to the niacinamide and hyaluronic acid in this mist. The lovely rainforest smell is to die for and especially calming before bed <3 very excited to continue using this product and see how my skin texture softens. Highly recommend!

Amazing!

I’m in love with this product! I’ve learned that an essence is more than a toner and has many benefits for your skin. I’m so happy that it has niacinamide and hyaluronic acid in it for my mature skin. My skin isn’t dry anymore and looks hydrated and healthy. This is definitely going to be a part of my skincare routine.
PS my teen daughter tried it as well and she is using it now. She said that she loves the cool sensation on her skin and she imagines herself in the forest on a cool misty day.

I recently started using this essence and it is lovely in many ways. The scent brings me to this sacred lands in the west coast. The formula feels gentle and leaves my skin protected for hours, leaving it smooth. I encourage everyone to treat yourselves with this excelent mist.

Great for sensitive skin

I have really sensitive, acne prone skin with rosacea and I love this essence. The texture and weight feels lightweight and silky, not sticky. The scent is earthy and goes so well with the Teywilh face cream. After using it, my skin feels more plump and hydrated. Most importantly it feels calm and doesn't make me feel itchy at all, like it will be before a flare up.

Satisfying and super refreshing

The product definitely delivered on its soothing qualities, and with the Shkwen scent to match no less. A lovely new addition to my skincare routine!
