“I work as a chef and so needless to say my hands take a rough beating every day. I've had this salve for a long time and have always loved it for chapped lips, but recently started using it on my hands and it has been a life saver! It really does almost instantly relieve dry, cracked skin and small cuts. And unlike other moisturizers it doesn't dry out your hands as it's oil-based.”

“My favourite product to recommend to people is your kalkay salve, it's got the most wonderful healing and soothing properties because of the yarrow and rose. I always use it for my eczema treatment, and it's what I give to my family who suffer from dry skin breakouts, it's been a life saver for some uncomfortable times with skin dryness. It's a salve with potency and effectiveness. These are beautiful medicines our people have been utilizing for centuries”

“I agree with other reviews that this is great for mosquito bites to reduce itching and duration of the bite on my skin. Plus it smells lovely and a small tin lasts a while even though I tend to get eaten alive in the summer from bug bites, I still have a bunch left!”

Our Story
At Sḵwálwen, we sustainably harvest and source sacred plants that are known to help heal, hydrate, renew and bring balance.
Our heritage botanicals grow and thrive in particular terroir. We observe these plants throughout their growing season, looking for the cues and signs that they are ready to be harvested. This kind of awareness leads to a connection to place and a knowledge that can only be developed over time.
Each batch of Sḵwálwen products is made with care and intention, bringing you luxurious skincare products free from harsh chemicals, phthalates, synthetic fragrances, synthetic colors and parabens.
